There are thousands of calculators on the Internet. Once you have found the correct calculator, enter your numbers and you have the correct answer. Other calculators help you convert from one measurement system to another. Students can play with these calculators to learn the types of calculations accountants, economists, engineers, scientists, and other professionals need in their work. Internet Calculators are particularly useful to folks who do not have the handbooks used by professionals to locate formulas they need.

Some calculators use Java applets which may not be supported by older browsers. Slide Rule is an interactive slide rule which uses Java. This Australian site is a good place to test you browser's Java abilities. Java, java applets, cgi-bin, and Internet Information Server (ASP, formerly Denali) are methods used to interact with a webpage. Often called Dynamic HTML, such methods will be important in new Version 4 browsers to be released in late 1997.
