Vine and Flower Mutations
in Atlantic Giant

Only a few vine and flower mutations are known in Atlantic Giant pumpkins.

Watch for any unusual vine, leaf, tendril, flower and other mutatations as you tend your Atlatnic Giant plants. Please report them to Harold Eddleman. I am including the colors seen on young fruit here, but traits of the mature fruit will be placed on page pk707.

Known Mutations Found in C. maxima Vines

B2 = Dominant = Bicolor 2 = precocious yellow fruit pigment

D = Dominant = Dark green stem in C. pepo

lo = recessive = lobed leaves
