Free Mail Lists Managed by Indiana Biolab

These free maillists offer K-12 students, farmers, businesspeople, parents, and others the opportunity to participate in international discussions by e-mail. For each list, this page enables you to read about the list, view the archive, join the list, or send a message by mouse click. All these maillists are free of charge due to support by advertisers on Listbot.com, which provides the server. All messages are saved permanently in the Archive. The public can read the messages in the Archive, but only members (free) of the list may send messages or questions to the list. After you read the archive and find one or more lists which interest you, please join the lists and then every message will come to you by e-mail and you may submit any questions you wish.

There are thousands of Lists on the Internet and they all work the same way. When you send an e-mail message or question to a list, the list server retransmitts the message to everyone who has subscribed to that list. When subscribers get your question, some of them may reply with the very information you were seeking. Most internet lists are intended for professionals in the field. These Indiana Biolab lists are intended for students and beginners in the field served. We encourage experts to join these lists to mentor beginner. It turns out the experts out number the students and beginners on all these lists. Therefore, you are almost certain to get excellent replies to your questions.

You can send a message to any list from any computer that is connected to the internet.  If you do not have an online computer you can sign up for a free e-address at HotMail, Juno or other free service and use any computer at a library, church, work, school, or friend's home to send and receive messages via your free e-mail service.
