Suffix:   -in

Nouns are the names of persons, places, things, and concepts or ideas
-in suffix denotes feminine person

The suffix -in forms from masculine nouns feminines, which like the masculine, denote rank, dignity, or occupation. Zum beispiel: der König = king; die Königin = queen

Exercises

Form feminine nouns by using the -in suffix, using the umlaut were possible (ä, ö, ü), with the following masculine nouns:

der Fürst, der Graf, Der Gott, der Jägerm der Künstler, der Lehrer, der Präsident, der Bauer, der Schneider, der Tänzer
