Elizabeth Eddleman

Elizabeth may have been the first child and was born in Kentucky.

Her proven lineage is Elizabeth Eddleman <== John Eddleman (miller of Georgetown IN, KY, NC) <== Catherine Eddleman (Her husband may have been David of PA, MD, and NC). See page 800 for his most likely lineage to Alsace Germany.

I have guessed that Elizabeth was born about 1799 (estimate from census) in Kentucky and may have been the first child of Mary Zumwalt and John Eddleman.

We know very little about this daughter; please contact me if you have anythingl; address below.

Recall Elizabeth had 2 childern at the probate of John Eddleman will. The childern were John E. Cline and Julia Ann Cline. The settlement listed George K. Cline as the father.

Her Father was John Eddleman of NC, KY, and IN

John Eddleman was born in North Carolina about ____ shortly before the family moved to Ky, probably in 1778 at the end of a two year's journey from NC. That time was deterimined by events on the front of New River area. We do not know the families whereabout, put this on John or David page.

Growing up at her Dad's Farm and Mill

Elizabeth was age twelve when the family moved to the farm on Little Indian Creek NW of Georgetown in 1811. The nearest neighbor was a mile away and most were 2 or 3 miles away. Two more siblings were born after the family arrived in Indiana.
